We recognize that each person’s grief response is unique, and
our goal is to respect your uniqueness in the delivery of bereavement care.
Our services include: short-term loss and life
transition counseling, referral services to helping individuals and
agencies offering assistance in the area of grief and loss, supportive phone
contacts from VNHH volunteers, loss companioning by VNHH volunteers,
quarterly mailings which include educational materials concerning grief and
loss, a memorial service honoring those who have died in hospice care, and
a bereavement support group which is led by Dar Richardson, who is trained
in loss and grief counseling.
The group
meets every Monday 7:00-8:30 pm and the 1st and 3rd Tuesday starting at
2:00 pm at Cancer Services of Allen County 2925 East State Blvd., Fort
